A short thought for the day.

I will never get it perfect. Never.

It’s okay that I don’t. I will never throw a perfect party. I will never have the perfect day. Perfection only happens when we look back at the good days and see what was perfect about it. It’s why, I think anyway, so many people prefer the past to today. They can see where things worked and where they didn’t. Today is real-time and you won’t get the results as to what was a good idea until you see that idea play out.

Perfect isn’t real and it ruins the good that can happen in the day.

Training ourselves to see the good is hard to do, but I am trying to remember that good is something I have to find in my day. It helps make my life work better when I look for it. I know it helps my kids see the good in their lives too.

Just a short thought I wanted to get out there into the world. I hope it helped yours.

Yeah, stories, I got them in my pocket, but I have to get my work done first before I can dive in. Thanks for being patient.
